In the crowd-funded silent short film titled “1 Step Forward, 2 Steps Back,” a girl encounters dangerous people leeching onto her. Meanwhile, a woman navigates a similar experience, facing fatal obstacles that scar her and the lives of many in an attempt to take control. The film aims to showcase the repercussions of the current situations around the world regarding women’s rights and bodily autonomy.
